SK Telecom, KT & LG Uplus activated 5G network on 3rd of April, 2019 just prior to launching  of 5G services in USA, by Verizon Wireless.It is estimated that by April 30th, 2019 around 2,60,000 subscribers were actively using 5G services in South Korea. The country's second largest mobile carrier KT is trying to deploy in - building repeaters for use in crowded buildings.)
