Comparison between NASA and ISRO, Internet speed of NASA and ISRO

This post covers, world's two greatest space agencies i.e NASA and ISRO. Both these agencies have achieved a lot for mankind. They have made enough inroads in space exploration. A lot of people are very keen to know about these two agencies and have compared NASA and ISRO from their own point of view.

This post will help you to understand more about NASA and ISRO. Go through this post, it's interesting as well as informative.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration ( NASA )

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration ( NASA ) was established in 1958. The headquarters of NASA is in Washington D.C. NASA has 10 centers across the United States. It also has 7 smaller workplaces. It is considered as one of the best Space Agency. 17,373 employees are associated with NASA. Its administrator is Jim Bridenstine and its Deputy Administrator is James Morhard.

NASA is supporting the International Space Agency. It has been successful in carrying out some great space exploration. NASA launched Explorer 1, Neil Armstrong, NASA astronaut was the first man to land on Moon, The Mars Pathfinder, The Juno Mission, the eye of NASA, the Hubble telescope etc are just a few examples which goes on to reflect the capabilities and success of NASA.

Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO )

The Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO ) is the national space agency of India. It came into existence on 15th August, 1969. Its founder was Vikram Sarabhai. Its headquarters is situated in Bangalore. It operates under the Department of Space. ISRO is into space exploration and in the development of technologies related to it. 17,222 employees are working with ISRO

ISRO built Aryabhatta. It was India's first satellite. Chandrayan 1, which was a lunar orbiter was successfully sent by ISRO. ISRO also launched Mars Orbiter Mission and it entered Mars Orbit on 5th November, 2014, thereby India became the first country to successfully reach Mars on its first attempt. ISRO also holds a world record of sending 104 satellites on 15th February, 2017 by PSLV-C37 in a single flight. ISRO has made a lot of headway and is working round the clock to establish India as a global leader in space exploration.

Internet speed Comparison between NASA and ISRO

A lot of people are highly interested to know about the internet speed of NASA and ISRO and also how does it work.

The transmission of the internet in regards to NASA and ISRO is happening to and from satellites. This is an extremely pertinent point for all of us to remember. Lunar laser communication demonstration happened at first, which took place from a facility of NASA in Mexico. The speed was 20 Mbps. Apart from using normal traditional radio waves it also used laser beams.

Of course, gradually with more advancement faster speed was achieved. In fact, NASA has set a new record in terms of speed for data transmission in space, beaming information to and from the LADEE probe 3,80,000 Kms away in lunar orbit. Data was downloaded at a rate of 622 Mbps by pulsed laser beams.

ISRO launched GSAT-19  having two antennas each measuring over 2.5 meters. Now a day's, communication is no longer held by using radio waves rather laser beam is used for this purpose. Previous technologies were not very fast compared to modern-day technology.

Therefore, the speed of the internet is getting faster. It is said, that when ISRO will launch GSAT-20, India will get an internet speed of 70 Gbps across the country. This will surely empower India. ISRO is becoming so powerful and competent that in near future, internet users in India will receive very fast internet service.

Conclusion

When we compare the speed of NASA and ISRO we may find that NASA has the upper hand however, the speed tends to vary based on a lot of factors. NASA undoubtedly is one of the best Space Agency, but we must take into account the fact that ISRO despite having a lot of limitations in terms of budget and resources has come a long way. It is not lagging far behind NASA

Yes, NASA is a global leader in space exploration, but ISRO has also made a name for itself and the world knows for a fact that ISRO is a force to reckon with, in space exploration. The global community and humanity as a whole will be immensely benefitted in times ahead due to the effort of NASA and ISRO. Both the agencies are doing a commendable job. Their effort must be praised by one and all.
