At present we are flooded with plenty of options in the form of WhatsApp, Viber, Skype, Tango etc.Infact the presence of such advanced technologies have created a space for healthy competition amongst all the players which is always a great thing from user's point of view.

The number of users are increasing & seeing this leap in terms of number of users, it's imperative to have more options for users. They will have to find out ways to compensate for this loss. It is said that messaging via Chat Apps will be more than double to 41 bn this year in comparison to 21bn last year. These figures surely tells a story.

Why Do We Prefer Apps?
Most apps are free and easy to download. It's cheaper than SMS texts. The best part is, message sent in Apps are not charged on message basis, but by overall data cost. It is noteworthy, first up it was Blackberry that popularized messaging app. It is estimated roughly that We Chat has 400m users followed by Line having 100m users. KakaoTalk has 80m users, which was launched in just 2010. These figures demonstrate the popularity of Chat Apps in Asia.
