Google Tracks You Even If You Turn Off Location Tracking
You may not like it if you are being tracked by someone. You don't want Google to watch you all the time. If you have turned off location history that stops Google from adding your location to its Google maps timeline then it's a different thing otherwise Google will keep tracking you. Google tends to collect your location data for users of both iOS & Android devices. Although you can turn off another setting, however it is slightly trickier to find.

Follow the steps mentioned above till Go to ⇨Data & Personalisation Tab and right under it, you will ⇨find Location History, tap on it & ⇨switch the settings off for each phone or device connected to your Google Account.

For iOS & PC users, the following Steps are Important:
- Go to https://myaccount.google.com/intro/activitycontrols and sign into your Google account.
- Then you will have to switch off the Web & App Activity.
- You must also make it a point to switch off the Location History directly below Web & App Activity.
You may have nothing to hide therefore, if you are being tracked by Google it may not concern or bother you that much yet you will come across another set of people who may not like any breach of their privacy. To some extent even they are correct. So it's a catch-22 situation perhaps. Google is also correct to a great degree, as it wants to provide you better assistance. So it's for individual users to take a call on this & figure out whether they approve of such things or consider it to be a form of interference in their day-to-day life.
