Are We Alone In The Universe? The Search For Intelligent Life
It seems that Earth is the only planet where life can sustain. This supposition is being challenged big time of late by a lot of people. There is a large number of people, who strongly feel something is fishy and is cooking up to which ordinary citizens of the world are not privy. NASA in particular is suspected to be a space agency that is either in touch with Extraterrestrial beings also called Aliens or they have collected evidence that suggests the presence of Aliens somewhere on some other planet.

NASA has all along denied having obtained any concrete evidence in this regard. In fact, they have set up a committee of sorts to look into reporting UFO findings. Pentagons have gone public with certain videos that point toward some unidentified aerial phenomenon also known as UAP. A thorough investigation is required to reach any logical conclusion in this connection before saying something with certainty.
The Most Important Questions: Are We Alone In The Universe?
When humans first landed on the Moon even then it was believed that Neil Armstrong saw some huge spacecrafts already lined up there. Neil Armstrong never officially admitted to having seen such a spacecraft on the Moon. Therefore, we have to go by his statement instead of speculating more about it. We are at the infant stage of space exploration. Leave alone finding intelligent life, we are yet to establish the presence of bacterial life on any other planet. Yes, whenever we discuss Aliens it creates a sensation and most people want to find Aliens on other planets because it fascinates them.

As mentioned above, we are in the primitive stage of space exploration so we may come across a situation at some given point in time that may baffle us. What we are essentially highlighting here is that maybe in a distant place of the universe, some forms of life are flourishing or already flourished to our surprise. This possibility cannot be entirely ruled out, but there is no certainty in this regard. We have to cover a lot of distance and going by the enormous size of the universe we may never be able to scan and size up the entire universe and carry out search operations to trace the possibility of life. It's not going to be easy to detect any form of life, be it bacterial or Intelligent in nature.

We have sent space missions to Mars, Venus, Moon, etc, and observed the features of quite a few planets in our vicinity. Going by the data and observation, it is crystal clear intelligent life does not exist on such planets. So does it mean we should stop looking for life on another planet? Perhaps not. The vastness of the universe gives us a glimpse of hope. Strange things can happen. Our idea of life is confined to what we see on Earth. Life can have various shapes, sizes, and even dimensions about which we may be totally ignorant.
If something does not conform to the norms or does not match our supposition that doesn't mean it does not exist in a different place, having very different features and weather conditions. Life may still exist, which may not be identical to what we see on Earth. Scientists are also of the opinion that although so far no major breakthrough has been made in this connection, it does make sense to look into this proposition more deeply. Signs of life on other planets are something scientists are investigating big time.
The Biggest and Most Important Question We Can Ask is: Are We Alone In The Universe?
You can argue and opine that since no forms of life have ever been detected outside Earth it is obvious we are all alone. Going by the nonavailability of any major evidence, a lot of people will have to agree with your statement, but don't forget science is evolving all the time. It is expanding its reach to new territories, especially in space exploration. What if we come to spot some form of life on some other planet tomorrow! Let's not jump the gun. It's early days. We should let our scientists scrutinize this topic in detail before making up one's minds on it.

NASA's exoplanet program is one such major step in the right direction to detect life in a remote place in the universe. Whether it will yield any positive results, again time alone will reveal the answer to this question. Other space agencies are also curious to find the presence of life outside Earth. Finding a needle in a haystack is very difficult, the same is the case with finding a planet where life already exists. The reason is that the universe is too big. In fact, it is far bigger than our imagination.

We will have to get lucky and other things must also fall in place, if we have to detect life outside Earth. We are upgrading our abilities, sending probes, manufacturing high-power/ resolution telescopes, etc. All these efforts may go in vain too. We can't say with a percent guarantee that we will establish the presence of life outside Earth since we are investing so much into it.
Conclusion
What we can say with certainty is that it makes sense to look for the possible existence of life beyond Earth. To what extent we will succeed again depends on certain factors like our understanding of the cosmos & their chemical makeup, various celestial bodies, how life originated on Earth, our in-depth analysis of the habitable zone in the universe, our abilities to explain the characteristics, origin and likely Extraterrestrial dimensions of life backed by sophisticated spacecraft capable of flying at great velocity, modern telescope having bigger range and successful space mission in near future.
We are in fact dealing with a topic where we can get 100 % success or absolute failure. Nothing can be said as of now regarding the presence of life beyond Earth. There is a constant effort to find life on another planet.
We may or may not succeed in this endeavor, but we are still likely to gain a lot of valuable information which will directly or indirectly benefit mankind. If you are a science enthusiast then keep following the latest developments in this field. Who knows, one day NASA or some other space agency may announce the presence of life beyond Earth. Wait till such an announcement is officially made. If it ever happens then the world will perhaps no longer be the same.
