Albert Einstein was born on 14th March 1879. His father's name was Hermann Einstein & his mother's name was Pauline Einstein. He was born into a Jew family in Germany. He was immensely gifted, but his theory of relativity made him truly a genius and famous. By devising this theory, he gained a lot of attention and was successful in establishing his credentials as one of the best in this domain.

It is said that whenever he used to go somewhere, people used to surround him with a lot of questions about his scientific theories. He always used to say, he was an ordinary person without any special quality however, he was highly inquisitive. You will be shocked to know, that he was not an intelligent person all along. He started studying very hard and the result of his effort was strongly evident. This shocked his teachers and later on, he opted for mathematics for further studies. Yes, he did face a lot of financial constraints during his academic life, but he kept on working hard and eventually become an expert in mathematics & Physics. Today's world knows him for e = mc2. In the year 1921, Albert Einstein got the Nobel prize for his contribution to the field of Theoretical Physics and especially for his discovery of the law of the Photoelectric effect. Once America wanted to nominate him for the presidency of Israel which he politely refused, as he felt he is not meant for politics.

It is believed that he was so very intelligent that he could chalk out the entire research and planning of any experiment in his mind. His birthday is celebrated every year across the globe as "Genius Day". He was never afraid of making mistakes. He used to experiment in different ways. Although he was a genius, he used to have a lot of difficulties remembering dates & phone numbers.
Once he was going back to his home and he forgot his own residential address. Fortunately, the cab driver knew his address so he was dropped off accordingly at his address. Another strange incident happened with Einstein once. He was traveling on a train. The Ticket checker asked him to produce his ticket. It appeared that Einstein had either lost or misplaced his ticket. The Ticket Checker knew Einstein so he didn't press hard for the ticket to be produced. Albert Einstein kept on searching for the ticket. The Ticket Checker told him not to be bothered about it, as he is sure he had booked his ticket. Even then Einstein kept on looking for the ticket because he forgot his destination. These are some strange incidents related to this great man.

This genius also invented the Gas absorption heat pump & Einstein Refrigerator. Modern-day phone clocks & GPS are influenced by theories suggested by Albert Einstein. This great scientist passed away on 18th April 1955.
